Day 1, Tuesday 10 October
12.05 Depart Auckland NZ245
16.20 Arrive Denpasar and be transported to Bumi Ayu Bungalows
Day 2, Wednesday 11 October
0930 Depart hotel, Denpasar bound.
We will stop at the Money Changers and ATM on the way.
Shopping for material on Jl. Sulawesi, then on to the Jeweller to arrange jewellery designs. If time permits and interest is high a quick look-see through the Denpasar market, an explosion for all the senses!
Stopping for a bite to eat, then on to Mira Moda to complete the material shopping. On the way back to the hotel, we will stop in at Carrefour, where you can pick up scrummy treats and other requirements to enhance your stay.
Back at Bumi Ayu, and time for a quick dive in the pool, then the tailor will arrive to start taking measurements.
Day 3, Thursday 12 October
1030 Tailor and leather man at the hotel to take measurements and plan designs. (Times will be scheduled so mostly a free day to get your bearings and find the lounger at the pool most suited to your needs.)
Day 4, Friday 13 October
Free Day.
Black Friday in America is traditionally a day of shopping and great bargains. There is no better place to be than Bali to take advantage of this.
Day 5, Saturday 14 October
1030 Make sure you have comfortable shoes on, and your wallet ready to go. Today we will be hitting the malls in Kuta and the boutiques of Seminyak. With a decadent high tea to refuel, it really will be shop ‘till you drop.
Day 6, Sunday 15 October
Free Day
Are you keen for fun out on the water? Parasail, jetski, banana boats, snorkelling. We can direct you to the best spots.
Day 7, Monday 16 October
1000 Today we will be heading up to Ubud. Considered the cultural hub of Bali, this is where you will find great art, quirky souvenirs and more trendy boutiques and galleries. We will be lunching at a fab restaurant, with spectacular views, although truth be told, this is not hard to find in Ubud.
Day 8, Tuesday 17 October
Free Day
If you haven’t already, a spa in Bali is mandatory. A great spa does not cost the earth; a five-hour extravaganza of massage, facial, mani/pedi can cost around NZ $60. But if you want to experience a luxurious five-star spa in spectacular settings that can also be arranged.
Day 9, Wednesday 18 October
Free Day
There are sightseeing tours galore, time spent getting to know the flora and fauna of Bali, or cooking the flora and fauna of Bali? Or does the lounger by the pool beckon? The options are mind-blowing!
Day 10, Thursday 19 October
Free Day.
Clothing, leather, and jewellery will start arriving. Any adjustments will be organised.
Day 11, Friday 20 October
Final clothing, leather, and jewellery will be delivered. Any adjustments will be organised.
1600 Sunset Kecak dance at Uluwatu, then our goodbye dinner on the beach at Jimbaran Bay.
Day 12, Saturday 21 October
Final deliveries of clothing, leather and jewellery
1400 Late check out Bumi Ayu Bungalows
